Engineering Physics Laboratory imparts the necessary theoretical knowledge and technical skill for all the young Engineers of NMIET to handle the precision tools and electronic gadgets there by lying the foundation for the future technocrats in the practice of their professions. The basic focus in the Engineering Physics Laboratory is encourage students to innovate in diverse technical areas for better understanding of technical and engineering problems. In this lab Students can perform experiments like Ultrasonic Interferometer, Law of Malus, Solar characteristics, Newton’s Ring’s, Diffraction Grating, Laser Beam Divergence ,Energy Band Gap etc. taught in theory allows them to explore more knowledge from classic ones to those that are more recent and advanced.
Engineering Chemistry lab gives practical learning about theoretical concepts. The lab is equipped with many apparatuses which are essential to learn many modern concepts of engg. chemistry. The students perform experiments like analysis, titrations, pH metry, conductometry, volumetry etc. Students perform experiments related to water analysis were they learn to determine hardness by titration, they learn to study the alkaline water conditions and their impact, determine the alkalinity. They perform experiments related to proximate analysis of coal, where the calorific values are calculated for commercial coal samples.
BEE lab provides environment to students for practical execution of the fundamental theories of electrical engineering.
The laboratory has required equipment and consumables to carry out the experiment s as per the syllabus.In this lab. Students of first year perform experiment related to topics taught in theory like Superposition theorem,Thevenin's theorem, Kirchhoff's law.

The lab consist of single phase transformer, three phase transformer and Auto transformer with single phase load banks and three phase lamp load bank so can perform experiment of load test of transformer.
Students can study all types of Ac circuit with the help experimental kit.
The purpose of the basic Electronic Engineering Lab is to provide students, engineering skills by way of breadboard circuit design with electronic devices and components.
To design and analyze various Electronic circuits such as multivibrators, applications of operational amplifiers, RC coupled amplifiers, oscillators, digital circuits etc. so that students are able to understand the practical aspects of basic electronics theory.
To enable the students to simulate and test the Analog, Digital and mixed Electronics circuits.
This laboratory gives the basic understanding of mechanics concepts. The students will experience the changes in behaviour of structure due to application of loads. Basics of determinate structures will be introduced through experiment.
The main purpose of any structure is to support the loads coming on it by properly transferring them to the foundation. The students will be able to compute internal, external forces and displacements produced by the application of loads to make the structure safe. Detailed analysis is to be performed to determine the bending moments, shear force, axial forces etc at the required section.
