About Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial intelligence) Department

The department of Computer Science Engineering (CSE-AI) with the specialization of Artificial Intelligence is offering undergraduate program with the intake of 60. Efficient, Enthusiastic and high performing faculties are engaged in mentoring the students and guiding them to realize their strength and become best ambassadors of the department and in turn institute. Artificial Intelligence is one of the cutting edge courses which mainly focus on programming languages, software engineering, computer networks and problem solving skills, computation and analysis of algorithm. This program enables the students to acquire multidimensional approach of computing knowledge and understanding the problems to solve deep imagination and sensitivity to a variety of concern. The major focus of this program is to equip students with the ability to design intelligent solutions to problems in a variety of domains and business applications. Since last decade, AI is the witnessed in tremendous growth and dramatic breakthrough research applied in almost every sector. Victorious MNCs like Playtika, Ford, NVIDIA, Medtronic, Samsung, Symantec, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Facebook, Flip kart, twitter etc. uses AI techniques to discover patterns, decision making and trends in user’s data and behavior. Various banking and financial companies like Barclays, HDFC, Citi Bank, Morgan Stanley, Avaya etc. uses AI techniques for risk analysis, share market trends analysis, investment banking.

MISSION OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE)

1. To develop skill-based education and ethical professionals for students that will enhance expertise in the field of AI through industry-institute interaction and research.
2. To apply new optimized advanced methods in problem solutions for various challenges in society.
3. To contribute towards innovation through interdisciplinary and analytical skills.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: Able to handle modern tools as per emerging technology in the field of artificial intelligence and upgrade the knowledge through higher studies.
PEO2: Able to apply skill-based knowledge to solve problems of society and the modern industrial world through a multidisciplinary approach.

PSO 1 - Ability to identify problem statements and problem solutions through analysis, design, and implementation by applying the concepts of artificial intelligence.

PSO 2 - Apply skill-based knowledge through modern tools to develop software solutions for the fulfillment of societal needs, environmental issues & entrepreneurship.
PSO 3 - Inculcate research-based activities to conduct the investigation of complex problems and solutions through modern tools with proper conclusion.
